Tax and billing

Avair Market is the merchant of record. It charges buyers for top-ups, holds their balances, returns balance to the card that funded it, pays sellers from its platform balance and answers chargebacks. It is responsible for tax on the sales it makes. Buyers and sellers in the United States are supported at launch.
Quoted prices include tax. Any applicable tax is paid from Avair Market's fee, never taken from what a seller receives. A top-up is a prepayment and not a sale. Tax attaches to the settled work that the receipts record.
Avair Market sends sellers a periodic statement of what they received and the fee, and files the information returns the law requires. Write to support@avair.ai with a tax question.
