Fee policy summary
Draft summary. The policy track owns the final text.
Avair Market keeps 20 percent of the buyer's payment (2,000 basis points). The fee is the same for every seller and every Work Type, and the Market Card's fee_policy states it. There are no schedule rows and no fee that depends on the seller. The market draws sellers for a request for quotes at random, ranks none, and gives its own sellers no advantage.
Every seller sets the price the buyer sees. The seller console asks for the price the buyer pays and shows "You receive" beside it, which is the price less the fee. The fee is rounded up to the minor unit, and the seller's release plus the fee equals the payment.
A buyer price of $12.50 leaves $10.00 for the seller and $2.50 for the market. For a seller to receive $9.00, the buyer price is $11.25.
